It’s been a busy few months for us at Rough Creek. We are pleased to share some of the latest news with you as this exciting project takes shape.
CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS
We are happy to report that construction on Phase 1a is well underway. Framing has been completed on a few of our lots and is nearing completion on others. The beautiful stonework is really starting to take shape, we’ve paved a new road leading from the Lodge to the Residences, and some of our homes are already getting kitchens installed. Our future owners will soon see construction begin on their private parking and private storage/UTV garages, as well as the family barn and owners-only pool. RESTAURANT AND BAR UPDATES
Rough Creek Lodge’s restaurant and bar is undergoing some major improvements, including the expansion of the dining room to include an enclosed outdoor space that will allow more tables year round. Large, metal framed, all glass roller doors have been added to open the dining room onto this new outdoor space and create a seamless indoor-outdoor dining experience. The expansion will increase the dining area by 1,000 SF in anticipation of our new Residences homeowners.
BATTING CAGES
Swing for the fences! Rough Creek has added a brand new batting cage to its stellar list of amenities. After a day of hunting or fishing, bring the whole family to the cages to unwind and practice your line drives. Our machine throws real baseballs and softballs, and allow you to adjust the MPH and height. The perfect addition for our kid-friendly Spring Break week kicking off this Friday!
PHEASANT DRIVE
Rough Creek Lodge recently hosted its 2nd Annual Pheasant Drive. New and potential homeowners, along with our Rod & Gun Club members, spent the day in beautiful Texas Hill Country with Rough Creek’s trained hunting dogs. Everyone was pleased to retreat to the Lodge at the end of the day with an average of 194 birds between both groups.
