One of the many ownership perks at The Residences at Rough Creek Lodge is access to world class cuisine. Dining at Rough Creek Lodge is known for blending unmatched service with Chef Gerard Thompson’s modern interpretation of rustic American cuisine. No detail is spared, down to the last (and best) bite.

Star Telegram recently profiled Rough Creek Lodge’s dining experience after stopping by to sample our lunch menu. The laid back ambiance and spectacular views of  Texas Hill Country from the Lodge’s big bay windows impressed the guests, but it was the mouthwatering food that won them over completely.

Rough Creek’s house charcuterie includes house-cured prosciutto and Spanish chorizo, lamb proscuitto, guanciale, various types of bacon and pancetta.

A new house smoker means more briskets and turkey on the menu, along with housemade smoked sausage. (And of course, the lodge now smells like a serious smokehouse.)
